Dear delegates, 

It is my immense pleasure to welcome you all to the 7th iteration of the Shishukunj MUN.

I, Manas Pandey will be serving as the USG- Specialised Agencies and the Crisis Director.

I am a 12th grader currently. I am a big Star Wars fan. I spend most of my time reading Mark Blythe, Slavoj Zizek, and learning more about International relations and Marxist Economics. I am a very very funny person, no cap.

I started MUNs when I was in 6th grade and I can say for sure that it has developed my interpersonal skills and additionally helped me understand world politics better. It has been a great experience so far and I hope that it lasts forever. 

​

The United Nation Charter established six main organs of the United Nations, including the Apex body- Security Council.  Specialized agencies of the United Nations are carrying out operations to promote multilateral cooperation from professional and technical viewpoints.

In this edition of the Shishukunj MUN, we have three compelling committees under Specialized Agencies- Security council, JCC Kuwait and JCC Iraq. This year we have Joint Crisis Committees, which means that both committees will work simultaneously and one’s action will definitely affect the other. The Security council will discuss and debate upon the Armenia- Azerbaijan conflict with special emphasis on Nagorno- karabakh enclave. We will make sure that as delegates you will make the most out of this conference and leave with more information on World Politics.
